When I saw first-hand how disgustingly models are treated and how nasty the industry is in general, I wanted to create something that would treat people with respect and dignity, and that would reflect the way I perceive beauty, which is something connected to love.

By getting to know the men I photograph, both through the intimate process of a photoshoot and through the stories they share, a connection develops, a sort of act of love, which reveals their beauty. To celebrate Elska' s nearly decade-long reign of swoon-worthy, sexy travel content, we thought it'd fun to re-meet some of the gorgeous gays of the zine from over the years and from all over!

BOYS! Essentially Elska is a record of my travels, one city at a time, with the focus on the men I meet there. We've met men from Mumbaiheartthrobs from Yokohamahunks from Munichand studs from San Franciscoand everywhere else in between!
